De Marque, a global leader in ebook distribution services, has announced a partnership with the Directorate-General for Books, Archives and Libraries (DGLAB) of the Portuguese Ministry of Culture to create a national digital public library for the country.

A comprehensive project supported at every stage
De Marque, whose expertise and technology solutions have enabled it to achieve remarkable international growth, will be in charge of the entire project, from the design of the lending platform right through to its launch.
De Marque is currently working with other governments and public institutions in Canada, Spain, France, Italy, Belgium, the United States and Switzerland, among others, on the development of digital library services.
The group’s sound expertise will enable it to assist the Ministry in all areas of the new service, from training librarians throughout the country, to providing support in promoting the service to users.
De Marque will be working alongside the Ministry throughout this collaboration to help it achieve its objectives in terms of digital reading and accessibility.
